Pitch Pine Salve
Barnaby Black - Made with 100% wild foraged botanicals, from a single plant, to bring you the true essence of one species. We spend a lot of time in the pine barrens on the east end of long island. We harvest over 25 plants from these woodlands to go into out pine barrens products. The most important ingredient we use is the pitch from the sap wood of the pitch pine which is the only aromatic botanical used in this salve - deep, papery & medicinal. The resins from evergreen species have been used for centuries by many cultures for waterproofing, fire starting & for it's antimicrobial & antibacterial properties. We've taken queues from nature. Our salves are an all body moisturizer formulated for dry & weathered skin. Protecting & healing for all types of skin.
