Bug Balm
Barnaby Black - Our Bug Balm is made with over 12 botanicals to repel bugs the way nature intended. When we were formulating this we researched over 40 plants that were traditionally used in bug sprays - some that actually worked & some that became well known, nice smelling but non effective ingredients. When we heard that species like cedar, mugwort & blue tansy where the most effective at keeping bugs away we were thrilled as these plants are some that we already use throughout our products.
NOTE: Lemon Eucalyptus & Citronella essential oil has been registered as a plant-based insect repellant in the US since 1948. It works similarly to DEET by masking what attracts insects to our bodies.
Apply liberally to skin & hair when the nasties start biting. Made with 100% wild foraged aromatics. Locally sourced beeswax, organic coconut & apricot kernel oils, live plant infusions, tree pitch/resin, vitamin e, steam distilled essential oils.
